Water Wheel Shiraz 2006
Easy to rate this highly. It’s a seductive package, rich with dark, sweet, brandied berry fruit flavours, plain and glorious. There’s custardy vanillin oak, but it seems to add smoothness as much as flavor. This is all about dark, heady, warm fruit. A great red for winter. Very pure and very dark.
Drink 2008 – 2012.
