**** Water Wheel Bendigo Shiraz 2006, $18

To describe Water Wheel as one of central Victoria's most predictable, consistent and dependable wineries is not to damn it with faint praise. On the contrary, this is fact and a great credit to winemaker Peter Cumming and family. The '06 shiraz is a most enjoyable drink: warm, generous, robust, satisfying and widely available at a resonable ask.
