Review
2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005 Shiraz and 2006 Memsie Red.

James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion, 2008 Edition.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Gently sweet cassis fruit framed by firm and balanced tannins. No frills, just rock solid value. Rating 91.

2005 Shiraz.
Classic Water Wheel style, as honest as the day is long; blackberry and dark plum fruit with some spicy notes; the tannins fine but persistent, oak a bit player. Rating 90.

2006 Memsie Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec.
First released less than 12 months old, chook full of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, backed by firm tannins. Great now or later proposition; small wonder it often appears in Qantas business class.
Rating 90.
