Amazing for the price
Petit Verdot is vastly under-rated in Australian wine. This (first release) from Water Wheel weighs in at 15.5 percent alcohol - and gets away with it. For intensity and enjoyment this wine deserves to rate very highly. It’s full of gorgeous flavour and is excellent at bringing a smile to your face. Talk about velvet! Boysenberry, blackberry, blackcurrant and loads and loads of violets. It’s delicious to the max, and very concentrated.
